Start your engines for July Second Sunday on Main

2014 marks the ninth season of Second Sunday on Main, the monthly street festival in historic Over-the-Rhine. The second event of the season is noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 13 with Pride on Main Street, and it’s a big one. There’s a lot going on both on the street and inside the shop (see below). Second Sunday features more than 90 local vendors and food trucks, live music and street performers, Cincinnati Sports League’s outdoor beer garden, and sales and specials from the shops, galleries, and restaurants of Main Street.

IN-STORE STUFF

Brunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Caitlin Bertsch oversees our menu and relies on local and seasonal fare. Brunch favorites include goetta, rosemary garlic potatoes, scramble, and The Danny. Ingredients are free of animal byproducts, cholesterol, dairy and lactose, lower in saturated fat, and made with non-hydrogenated oils. All items are available gluten-free.

See what’s taking up space in our basement at Clifty + Coby Basement Clearance noon to 5 p.m. July 13 in front of the shop during Second Sunday on Main. Intuitive Card Readings: noon to 2 p.m.
Kimbereley McAninch offers 15-minute intuitive card readings for $20 during brunch noon to 2 p.m. second Sunday of each month here at the shop. An intuitive reading is like a session with a coach or a mentor. There is a lot of processing, releasing and transforming of mental, emotional and physical energy blocks. Kimbereley has done intuitive card readings since she was 11-years-old and works in areas of flower essences, Reike and crystal healing.

Park + Vine hosts an informal class on all aspects of cloth diapering 1 p.m. second Sunday of each month, unless noted. No longer a baby itself, this popular monthly class turns six-years-old in 2014. Our own in-house mama, Jamee Diver, tailors each discussion to the specific questions of present parents.
